The last small-town piping system by the Ghana Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Project (GWASH) has been completed in Bokabo in Juaboso District of the Western Region. Bokabo previous lacked any improved water sources, and the townspeople had relied on fetching water from a nearby stream.

A four-member team from the Water Quality Assurance Unit of the USAID has visited four communities in the Assin North and South Districts of Central Region. The team, led by the WASH Project Management Specialist, Emmanuel Odotei visited Breku Clinic and Kwamekwa communities in Assin North District and Akrofuom, Kramoakura communities in Assin South District.
